ESSES is a Portland, OR band (formed in Oakland, CA in 2014). Their music weaves together elements of post-doom with overtones of dark imagery and ancestral magick, to capture an atmosphere that is both intimate and intense. The band is known for its transcendently dark live performances. They are currently finishing up their newest full length album, due to be released in summer of 2025.
